Competitions
Seven championships, from espresso to roasting
Each has its own rulebook, its own clock and its own way of judging. We explain all of them in plain words — what is asked of you, how it is scored, and what the road from a national competition to the world stage looks like.
Transparency
Why them and not others
It is the most frequent question after every competition, and the answer is no secret. We publish the full pathway to the judging table: years of craft, formal education, two years of national judging, a two-day certification and endless calibration.
Calendar
Where the competitions are held this year
The national competitions and the world championships they lead to. We mark explicitly what is confirmed and what is still a proposal — a calendar where you cannot tell the difference is not a calendar.
Sponsors
Competitions stand on sponsors and volunteers
They are run by an association, on small budgets, by people who take days off work. A sponsor is not buying a logo on a banner: they keep alive a Romanian champion's road to the world stage.
