Sponsors and partners

The national competitions are run by an association, on small budgets and by volunteers. Sponsors are the reason they exist and the reason a Romanian champion reaches the world stage.

Official partners

Not sponsors. These are the people who run the competitions alongside the chapter, year after year: they bring the venue, the equipment, the competitor training and the people who make the event happen.

The Bucharest barista school founded in 2012 by Silvia Constantin — the year is written in the logo itself: “Since 2012”. A good part of Romania's national champions came out of it — among them Sebastian Ioan Fărcaș, latte art champion four years running, and Alexandru Niculae, Romania's only world champion. It runs competitor training and provides the space and equipment for practice.

Three tiers

Diamond, Gold and Silver — for each competition separately and, on top of those, for the festival.

Diamond

Gold

Silver

The exact contents of each tier and the investment are shared on request, matched to the competition you want to back.

What can be supported

Sponsoring a competition

The three tiers apply to each national competition separately. A sponsor can back a single competition — Latte Art or Cup Tasters, say — or several.

Sponsoring the festival

The same three tiers exist for the host event, where the audience is broader than the professional community.

Exhibition stand

Exhibition space for roasters, importers, equipment makers and suppliers. Contracted separately from the sponsorship tiers.

In-kind sponsorship

Equipment, coffee, milk, consumables, transport, space. For a competition, an espresso machine or a set of grinders can weigh more than a sum of money.

Why it is worth it

The audience that matters in coffee

In the room sit baristas, roasters, café owners and importers — the people who decide what equipment and what coffee get bought next year.

A direct road to the worlds

National champions represent Romania at the world championships. A sponsor of a national competition ties its name to a road that ends on the world stage.

The money goes back into education

The competitions are run by an association, not a company. What is raised supports competitor preparation, judge training and educational events.
