Rules 2026 · Cezve/Ibrik Championship
Cezve / Ibrik
Coffee in a cezve — the oldest method still drunk today, judged at world-championship standard. Competitors are encouraged to bring their own cultural element into the performance.
What this is and what it is not
The chapter publishes a Romanian working version of the 2026 rules, written in our own words, for competitors who would rather prepare in their own language. It does not replace the original: the English text published by World Coffee Championships governs the competition and settles any dispute.
National and world events are not identical
A national championship is not an identical copy of the world event. The rulebooks themselves list what a Competition Body may adapt — and what may never be touched: the judging and evaluation rules. Each page carries a section on what differs nationally.
The rules, in Romanian
This page is written in Romanian. There is no point retelling it in English: the original is already in English, and you will find it below, at the source.
